Eagerly I wished the morrow

Okukon! The long and short of it is that I'm an overambitious artist spread far too thin. I love what I do, and I do a lot. I've tried many times to dedicate to a single craft but always find myself exploring an unfamiliar field instead of mastering one I'm amateur at.

I specialize in audio engineering, music composition and production, and singing. I dip into guitar (I favor electrics with an acoustic-ish feel that still sound good with heavy distortion so I can dynamically sweep across my exaggerated emotional spectrum), bass, writing, and (concept) art. I'm an ultra-newbie at animation, drums, skateboarding, pixel art, game development, coding, and obviously web design, all of which I admit I have pretty much no skill with despite my passion.

For most of my life I shambled idly along a dark path and fell victim to many vices and was assailed by unreal shades. In sophomore year I transferred to the RISE program which gave me the freedom to continue my education outside of my normal overstimulating, toxic school environment, holding me accountable in-person at my own pace, free to ask for help only when I need it. What really saved me, though, was the social worker there recommending the Old Firehouse Teen Center for me to get mandatory community service hours.

The Old Firehouse quickly became my true home. Its grungy dinged-up interior discarded any typically imposed expectation of perfection.
