Corruption, Incompetence, and Negligence

Throughout and following the Old Firehouse's lifespan, the City of Redmond exemplifies such blatant corruption and incompetence that it is identified as a political science case study on how not to run a city.

Repeated transgressions against its citizens and the wider community include but are not limited to:

• Invasions of privacy
• Deception
• 1A violations
• Withholding of public records

For now, these items will be summarized here as stubs while I draft full reports.

Invasions of Privacy

Demanding sensitive information such as medical records, home address, contact information, birth date, family connections, demographic information, marketing information, and anything else the private businesses the City forces program participants wish to collect. They openly state that they use this data for marketing purposes and that this data is shared with third parties and business partners^*. Signup is mandatory for participation even in free programs such as Teen Lounge drop-in at RCCMV.

Unconstitutional NDAs imposed on non-government-employees throughout the city's engagement process violate Americans' 1A right. They use these and various tactics as means to control the narrative by suppressing public dissent, obfuscating operations from the public that should be subject to public records, and masking corrupt and incompetent practices.

Having been a member of the 2025 OFH Stakeholder Group and someone involved in all steps of engagement, I have encountered first-and-secondhand more instances of censorship than I can count. I hope to formally blow the whistle on all possible channels because the things I witnessed are not acceptable under any circumstance and (I believe) constitute illegal activity.

I believe the City is aware that these restrictions are not legally enforceable and only impose them to intimidate would-be protesters.
